Dafne Herrera is a film student at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas (ENAC) of the Universidad Nacional Autonóma de México (UNAM). A resident of the state of Querétaro, Dafne moved to Mexico City in 2019, the year in which she entered the Bachelor of Science in Communication at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of UNAM. During that period, Dafne attended the course "Mexican horror film, the transculturation of a genre" taught by Professor José Luis Ortega Torres, at the UNAM Film Library. In 2021, Dafne joined the ENAC, where she has participated in student and independent short films, playing different roles in cinematographic work, such as directing, editing, directing assistance, cinema photography assistance and direct sound. In 2024, Dafne made his first documentary short film ̈Good morning, Margarita ̈. Currently, she is specializing in making fiction films.
